The Collector Series Mini's ™ are intended to make Russell's photographic art available to everyone. He feels that everyone is entitled to beautiful art which will enhance their home or place of business - and his affordable Collector Series Mini's ™ fit the spot perfectly for any budget and for any size room. The Collector Series Mini's ™ are simply smaller versions of his larger editions. They are produced at the largest size possible which will allow them to be matted in a standard 16" x 20" frame, typically with a 2" mat on each side. This allows collectors to very easily purchase frames which match the decor of their home or their personal preference - whether it be metal, oak, cherry, or something less traditional. These images are developed using the traditional film emulsion system so they will last as long as traditional photographs and are matted with acid-free mat board and individually signed. Note that not every image is available in The Collector Series Mini's ™ edition. This is because some images will simply not come out at an acceptable size. For example, an image with a 1:8 ratio will only be 2 inches tall at 16 inches wide.

The Collector Series ™ images are our standard size and most common prints. The Collector Series™ images are produced at the largest size possible which will allow them to be matted in a standard 11 3/4 " x 36 " frame or a full-size 24" x 36" frame, typically with a 3" mat on each side. The 11 3/4 " x 36 " frame is a standard "half poster" size frame and allows collectors to very easily purchase frames which match the decor of their home or their personal preference - whether it be metal, oak, cherry, or something less traditional. Likewise, the 24" x 36" frames are widely available - they are standard poster frames. Images are matted in whichever frame is more appropriate, based on the image ratio and dimensions. The frame size is shown with the price. These images are developed using the traditional film emulsion system so they will last as long as traditional photographs and are matted with acid-free mat board and individually signed.

The Conservator Series™ edition is designed to meet the expectations of fine art collectors. Rather than letting the frame define the size of the print (as in the Collector Series™), the Conservator Series™ images are printed at their largest authentic dimension. This means that the image has not been "blown up" or stretched at all. These prints are typically 12-18" on the short side by 36-48" on the long side, but this can vary greatly, depending on the scene and the camera equipment Russell used for the particular image. These images are at the purchaser's discression, either conservation framed or permanant box framed. Our conservation framing follows the standards as defined by the Smithsonian. This includes mounting of the art with japanese rice paper, conservation grade matboard, and a completely sealed metal frame assembly (wood frames are not considered archival because of their inherent moisture). Our permanant box mount framing is dedicated to closely replicating our conservation framing in visual appearance - except that the art is permanenty affixed to a conservation backing. This results in a print that is always perfectly flat and a delight to visualize. Unless your main objective is truely conservation, we suggest this mounting. Since the artist is based in earthquake prone California, and shipping can frequently damage glass, all prints ship with plexiglass, either standard or anti-glare, based on your preference with anti-UV protectant, again at your preference - and includes proper acrylic cleaning solution. Each piece is signed by the artist.

The Curator Series™ is a custom edition for those who want the absolute finest in fine art presentation - and want to make a bold statement in their home or place of business. To meet the desires of each customer, the Curator Series™ prints are made to order. We offer three different sub-editions, depending on your preferences. We offer canvas mounting, our carefree version which can resist the toughest of environments, and our contemporary edition, designed to make a statement. Our canvas edition comes ready to hang with a protective UV coating. Our carefree prints are mounted to conservation grade hardwood and then surface coated with a durable protectant which prevents scratches and UV damage. Our contemporary prints are sandwich mounted in plexiglass which brings a glow to the prints, reflecting ambient light back to the viewer for a premium viewing experience.
